Finite Carbon's project development services are generally best suited for forest land parcels of 5,000 acres or more in the Pacific Northwest and 10,000 acres or more elsewhere. Landowners with less acreage may wish to explore programs designed specifically for smaller-scale ownerships.
For landowners owning between 500 to 10,000 acres in the Southern Appalachian region including Kentucky and West Virginia, we work with and highly recommend the Appalachian Carbon Exchange. Other small-scale ownership programs include LandYield and the Family Forest Carbon Program.
Due to the high volume of inquiries we receive, we encourage landowners with properties below our minimum acreage threshold to contact one of the organizations listed above, as we may not be able to respond to all inquiries.
