Indigenous

Indigenous communities seek to provide future generations with a strong economic foundation while preserving deeply held community values. A growing number of Indigenous American communities are partnering with Finite to develop their carbon finance programs, generating substantial revenue that is often reinvested into social, economic development, and natural resource programs. Finite has a longstanding partnership with indigenous leaders and forest managers who fully understand the importance of indigenous sovereignty and are adept at assisting indigenous communities in taking advantage of this important economic development opportunity. In 2024, Finite Carbon received Bronze Level Certification in Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations (PAIR) from the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business highlighting our commitment to supporting the prosperity of Indigenous communities.
