Tennessee River Gorge Trust (TRGT) executive director Rick Huffines and staff know they’re fortunate to work and play among the biodiversity rich Southern Cumberlands area and Tennessee River Gorge. Over three decades, TRGT has successfully protected much of the remaining forest surrounding the Gorge. TRGT’s forest offset project helps to ensure that this special landscape will be conserved and managed for migratory bird habitat.
