Historical land uses within the Spokane Tribe project area include timber production, outdoor recreation, and subsistence hunting, fishing, and gathering. The Spokane project area is currently managed as multiple use forestland and projected land use within the project area will support and promote large, intact blocks of native forests in eastern Washington state.
