Consisting of sugar maple stands with areas of white pine, northern hemlock and yellow birch forest, the Molpus Woodlands Group Ned Lake property is managed under the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) certification program. Molpus’s management focus for this property is on promoting healthy forest growth and productivity through sustainable management practices, while maximizing financial returns. The forest carbon offset project is a key component to meeting those objectives.
