Contiguous with the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, the Lyme Wisconsin property is dominated by northern hardwoods and is part of a larger matrix of native habitats including hemlock, spruce, cedar and tamarack forests.  The property contains wild river tributaries, natural lakes, extensive wetlands and is subject to a working forest conservation easement held by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, which ensures the property will remain as a sustainably managed forest in perpetuity.
