Once part of the vast forestland holdings of International Paper, Little Brimstone was purchased and protected by Lyme Timber Company as the core ecological preserve of a larger working forest landscape. A forested gem among Tennessee’s rugged North Cumberland Plateau, Little Brimstone and the surrounding Big Brimstone properties are managed under the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification program.
