One of the nation’s first multi-owner compliance forest carbon projects. Using a working forest conservation easement and carbon operating agreement, LRCT and a private family demonstrated how joining forces can enable smaller forest owners to access carbon markets. The project’s carbon operating agreement was underwritten by a Doris Duke Climate Change Initiative funded grant through the Land Trust Alliance.
