Developed in partnership with the Lyme Timber Company and now owned and managed by the Downeast Lakes Land Trust (DLLT), West Grand Lake is a key component of the larger Grand Lake Stream ecosystem in Downeast, Maine. Working in partnership with DLLT, Lyme Timber Company used carbon finance to diversify its return on investment and ensure that West Grand Lake forever remains a certified working forest.
