To date, the Ahtna project is the largest project developed for the US compliance offset market. The project is an important socio-economic driver for the Ahtna Alaska Native Regional Corporation community including the training and hiring of shareholder-owners for project management. The program has the potential to grow a new generation of careers in natural resources; jobs that will allow community members to remain in the region caring for land and resources.
