Finite Carbon Corporation, the forest carbon development company that provides a single-source solution for creating and monetizing carbon offsets, announced today that Tim McAbee has joined the company as Director.

He has tremendous experience in forest carbon project development and will significantly increase our capabilities in managing our growing pipeline of complex forest carbon projects,” said Scott Nissenbaum, President, Finite Carbon.

He co-developed a comprehensive carbon finance tool, “CVal: a spreadsheet tool to evaluate the direct benefits and costs of carbon sequestration contracts for managed forests”, which was published by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service. Tim graduated summa cum laude from SUNY ESF at Syracuse with a B.S. in Forest Resources Management and summa cum laude from SUNY ESF Ranger School at Wanakena with an A.A.S. in Forest Technology.
